Veterinary sciences deals with the diagnosis and treatment of various animals and birds. The prime responsibility of a veterinarian is to look after the health and welfare of animals and birds. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Veterinary Medicine

Candidates after passing 10+2 in science stream with Biology as a subject can apply for the course. Admission process can be done through national level entrance exams such as All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT), All India Common Entrance Examination (AICEE), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University Entrance Test, etc. After completing Bachelor of Veterinary Science candidates should register with State Veterinary Council to start practicing as professional ‘Veterinary Doctor’.

Veterinarians are highly demanding in countries like Canada, US and many more. The future scope of veterinary science is large and is growing faster in this modern world. The job of veterinarian is not just limited to healing the illness of animals but it is majorly distributed into research work also.
