NEET Exam 2019: admit card released by NTA

NEET 2019 – National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a common entrance test that is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA released the admit card of NEET 2019 on April 15, 2019 on their official website ntaneet.nic.in. Candidates can now download the hall ticket from the provided link provided. NTA, the exam conducting authority will conduct NEET exam in offline mode on May 5, in 154 cities across the country. The duration of NEET exam is three hours (2pm to 5 pm).

Leading counselling and coaching centers are expected to release the NEET 2019 answer key immediately after the conclusion of the exam, while NTA will tentatively release the official answer key in the last week of May, allowing the candidates to check their NEET result 2019 on or before June 5.

NEET (UG) scores are very important as admission to about 93,919 MBBS and BDS seats in medical and dental colleges of India that run with the Medical Council of India’s (MCI)/ Dental Council of India’s approval and come under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. NEET scores are not considered in AIIMS and JIPMER as these institutions were established through Parliament Act. Moreover, the NTA’s responsibility limits to conducting the entrance examination and declaring the results of pan India candidates to the Government of India’s Directorate General Health Services to counsel 15% All India Quota seats and allocate the remaining to the state’s counselling authorities. Respective states have their own selection criteria to fill the seats apart from the 15 % all India quota seats, and the selection process differs from every state.
